Centrespace design were asked to work with Ayshford Samsone architects on the new EV battery store at Mercedes Benz. The challenge was ensuring the foundation design remained lightweight for the lightweight structure above but suited the falls of the existing car park and provide base to pick up any possible leak in a worst case.
