Deborah is an experienced operations and marketing professional having a background in Project Management where she obtained her Prince 2 accreditation.
Who I am and what makes me tick…
What prompted you to start a career in Operations and Marketing?
I spend over twenty years in the corporate world working as a Project Manager within Vodafone. When my children came along (now teenagers!) I decided it was time to do something different, using my PM skills I set up a business called Deborah PA that enabled me to work around the school drop runs and half terms. I successfully managed to secure clients that wanted both operational and marketing activities carried out hence a new role was born that has been developed over the years.

How has your previous experience helped you at Centrespace Design?
I think a background in Project Management would help you in any role and in any industry, it was something that I fell into and am forever grateful that I was trained and provided the tools to succeed in this area.
Which part of your work gives you the greatest sense of achievement?
I love a list 😊 and when ticking off the sense of achievement of job well done!
How would people describe you?
Fun, energetic, forever planning the next adventure in life, hardworking, family orientated and always up for a night out!
What motivates you to do what you do?
The funny answer to this is my daughters (twins!) driving lessons which are costing me a fortune! The serious answer is that in my view you have to have a reason to get up in the morning, something that makes you feel good about yourself and that’s what my job does for me.
What can you be found doing when you’re not at work?
I’ve recently training as a wedding celebrant so I’m very happy to be marrying couples, something that gives me great pleasure. My daughters are eighteen this year so I have less and less time with them but occasionally they allow me to go into London for a day out with them 😊
