Our MIPIM 2024 diary

Updated: Apr 8

MIPIM day one:

What a great start, we’ve been blessed with glorious weather and company.

Massive thank you to Tim J W Downing for kicking off the trip with a lunch with Daniel Collins, Jenna Frudd, Chris White, Katie Parfitt, David Ford, Will Johnson, Simon Shaw, Penelope Mitchell, Simon Millar, Lee Travers and Alan Lamb of the charity Rugby for Heroes.

Followed by a lovely afternoon with the fabulous – CPMG Architects and HLM Architects, spending time with Chris White, Katie Parfitt and Anna Kiho.

We ended the day with a delicious dinner with Daniel Collins, Harry Philpot and Natalya T.

Day two is here and we’re feeling well rested for the MY Construction breakfast with FORM Architects – looking forward to seeing Tim J W Downing, Ben Foran, Yottam, Chris White, Katie Parfitt, Neil Farrance, Lettice Swan and Cat Fraser.

And looking forward to the rest of today’s line up with seminars and meetings with Katten Drinks, Renee Preston Ice Cream, Blue Alpine, MDA Drinks.

MIPIM day two:

The day started with more blue skies and a glorious breakfast on the waves, followed by a superb lunch at NewYork - NewYork with Mandhir Singh Sidhu from Hubbl, Mark Twigg and Graham Pass from Forme UK and Alina Scarlat from Magnus Opifex.

We had a really productive time with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP after lunch, followed by some much needed ice cream with Renee Preston of Gallaway Construction Limited.

The evening was spent with the wonderful Blue Alpine, and massive thanks to Prash Jaitley, Jose Mayorga and the rest of their team for their hospitality!

Evening festivities were topped out by networking and wine tasting at 1862 Wines – big thanks to Steve Hurworth MRICS and Lettice Swan of MDA.

MIPIM day three:

We enjoyed a delicious lunch set up with Mandhir Singh Sidhu of Hubbl, David Anderson of Kingswood Associates, Una Barac-Tinegate and Ellie Macpherson of Atellior, and Tassos Kougionis of McBains. It was great connecting with everyone and having some really valuable conversations.

In the afternoon we caught up with colleagues at HLM Architects and PierceHill Consulting LLP and to conclude our third day we attended a fantastic dinner at L’Atrium, hosted by Francine Vella and Bernard Roccia of Forcia Limited. Thank you all for your incredible hospitality.

Mipim 2024 has certainly been a fulfilling week, mixing with talented and inspiring people across the industry. As much as we’re sad to leave the sun behind on the French Riviera, we’re looking forward to touch down in the UK and getting some meetings booked in!
